Approval is Key.
This guide will help you navigate the process efficiently and set clear expectations for approval and compliance.
Architectural Approval Process
Learn about the steps involved in obtaining approval for your home improvements and the typical timing for each stage.
To begin the architectural approval process, submit a completed Architectural Review Request Form along with any required plans, drawings, or supporting documents. This can be done online through our HOA portal (the best option), by mailing the documents to the local HOA office, or by visiting your local HOA office.
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The committee assesses your proposal based on the community’s guidelines and design standards.
The ARC will conduct an initial review to ensure all required information is provided. If additional details or clarifications are needed, you will be contacted.
The committee aims to provide a decision within [X] business days from the receipt of a complete application. You will receive written notification of the approval, denial, or request for modifications.
If approved, you may proceed with your project according to the approved plans. It’s important to ensure that the work complies with the approved specifications. The HOA may conduct inspections during and after the project to confirm compliance.
If your request is denied, you have the option to appeal the decision. Contact the HOA office to understand the appeal process and provide any additional information or modifications as needed.
